The Mets have officially announced that Legendary Mets Ace Tom Seaver will be getting a statue in front of Citi Field and will be approximately 8 feet tall. The announcement was made during the unveiling of the renamed street, “41 Seaver’s Way”, the street is about a seven block stretch that covers Citi Field.

Seaver was 198-124 with a 2.57 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, 2541 strikeouts in 3045.2 innings pitched with the Mets for parts of 12 seasons.
