Robinson Canó put together a 5 for 37 road trip, giving him a .135 batting average during that stretch.
Mickey Callaway has recently said that Canó is showing signs of life at the plate in which he’s not completely wrong. Canó has hit some hard hit line drive outs but something needs to happen, preferably a move within the lineup.
If Robinson Canó doesn’t put together some good stretches offensively, the Mets fanbase won’t be shy and will absolutely let him have it.
Canó has recently said that he hadn’t given much thought to dropping down in the order, which is a strange thing to say considering Mickey Callaway is supposed to be the guy filling out that lineup card.
