Before Tuesday night’s game against the Braves, the entire Mets team held a meeting behind closed doors and this is what Pete Alonso had to say about the matter:

“It was just all honesty. We were just being honest with ourselves. It was a good conversation. It was a good talk. I think it helped for sure.”

The Mets would end up winning the game 10-2.
