Noah Syndergaard was removed from his last start and has been placed on the 10-Day Injured List so Syracuse Mets’ righty Walker Lockett will get call up and the nod to take on Tyler Chatwood and the Chicago Cubs.

The Mets acquired Lockett from the Cleveland Indians for Kevin Plawecki during the off-season.

The right hander only has four starts with Syracuse due to starting the season with an arm injury that kept him on the shelf for six weeks.
