The Mets will try to take game 2 and the series against Zack Greinke and the Diamondbacks in tonight’s contest. Jacob deGrom will take the mound with a 3-5 record, a 3.71 ERA, and 1.17 WHIP over 11 starts and 63 innings. He had a tough but good outing during the week against the Dodgers in which he got the “no decision”, however the Mets would win the game. It’ll be interesting to see who will be behind the dish for tonight’s start, deGrom has been having more success with Nido as his receiver.
Zack Greinke has been looking good for the Diamondbacks, well, at least his numbers do. Greinke has a 6-2 record with a 2.78 ERA, 0.88 WHIP in 12 starts and 77.2 innings pitched.
