The Mets and Robinson Canó received some good news today as the extra set of X-Rays done on his left hand came back negative. Canó said he expects to miss a few days but will be back in the lineup towards the end of the week, hopefully Thursday.

When Callaway was asked if Canó was available for pinch hitting duties, Callaway responded by saying that they need to see how he’s able to grip the bat before the start of the game. I wouldn’t be surprised if Callaway uses Canó as a decoy again, in order to set up a more favorable matchup.
