Jacob Rhame talks Rhys Hoskins and Phillies

In the top of the 9th inning, Mets reliever Jacob Rhame threw two fastballs that ended up close to Rhys Hoskins’ dome piece.

After the game, reporters asked Rhame about the incident and said this, “I’m just trying to work inside, historically I’ve left a lot of balls over the plate, guys have been diving-in so I got to better my game.”

When asked if he thinks it fired the Phillies up at all his response was “That’s baseball, if it did, I mean that’s the game.”
