May 1st: Robinson Canó now has 542 career doubles, that currently puts him in a tie for 36th all-time.

Newly acquired veteran Robinson Cano’s first inning double was the 541st of his career.
That ties him with Rogers Hornsby for 37th in Major League Baseball’s all-time record Books. Cano now has 7 doubles this season and is batting .284 for the Orange & Blue.
The veteran second baseman now has 734 multi-hit games which places him at 70th most of all-time.
With 5 years left on his contract, it’ll be interesting to see what records he’ll be able to break while wearing the Orange & Blue.
