deGrom’s scoreless inning streak ends

Mets ace Jacob deGrom headed into Tuesday’s contest against the Minnesota Twins with 26 straight scoreless innings as well as a Major League Record tying 26 straight quality starts, with Hall of Fame’r Bob Gibson.

Twins catcher Mitch Garver lead the second inning took a fastball over the centerfield wall, putting the Twins up by one and also ending the scoreless inning streak at 27.
