Grandal signs 1 year deal with Brewers

Yasmani Grandal agreed to a one year deal with the Milwaukee Brewers, pending a physical.

Ken Rosenthal first reported the signing and Tim Brown of Yahoo! Sports reports that the deal is for $18.25M, which beats his original qualifying offer.

Let’s keep in mind that Yasmani Grandal turned down a $60M contract over four years offered by our Mets… HA!

    Grandal needs to fire is agent. They both should have realized that though he might have been the biggest free agent catcher, Realmuto is the biggest name on the board. Any multi-year offers (other than Mets) would ahve been coming only after teams missed out on J.T. Grandal and his agent panicked.
