Mets acquire Keon Broxton

Seems to be that I’m a tad late with this news but the Mets have acquired the services of former outfield prospect Keon Braxton from the Milwaukee Brewers for pitchers Bobby Wahl, Adam Hill, and infielder Felix Valerio.

Wahl was acquired by the Mets last July from the Oakland Athletics for top tier reliever, Juerys Familia. While with the Mets, Wahl wasn’t performing to the team’s standards as he had a 10.13 ERA in only 5.1 innings.

Adam Hill spent 2018 with the Brooklyn Cyclones, appearing in 9 games and pitching 15.1 innings with a 2.35 ERA in the New York Penn League.

Felix Valeria had an above average season in the lower levels with a .319/ .408/ .433/ .843 slash line while hitting 3 home runs, 17 doubles, and 22 R.B.I.’s in 263 at bats.
