The New York Mets will have Marcus Stroman apart of the 2021 rotation as he accepted his Qualifying Offer worth $18.9M.

The Long Island native will join Jacob deGrom and David Peterson in the rotation.

Stroman would’ve been one of the top free agents of the 2021 class if had decided to decline the offer. He would of likely been the second best starting pitcher on the market.
